finally seeing what i work for

Last week at work I got to get into our motion capture system, or Virtsim. It was really neat finally being able to get to see what our employees work on every day. One of the guys took some pictures of me with the gear on. I look pretty much like a man. Enjoy!

trendy tuesday-new suit

I'm getting pumped for our trip to Mexico in two weeks so I went to Target to find a new cute suit. I love this one from Target...the top is a new style for them (trust me I know...I've been buying Target suits for years).

lake it up

This past weekend my sister and brother in law invited me and Matt to go to Lake Rabun in the North Ga Mtns. We had so much fun! We were the only ones there that didn't have a dog and a child! It was so much fun just hanging out...Matt even said it was the most relaxed day he's had in a while. It was also  bonus that Matt stood up on skis for the first time! He had been telling us that there was no hope because he had been trying for years...then what do ya know he stands up first try! We think he was just bluffing before. We also tubed..which we realized was way more fun in middle school than it is now.

We also stopped my Matt's parents barn and got to hang out with my hilarious niece Lauren. Here are some pics:
All the dogs would fetch a tennis ball in the water and race to get it.
With my nephew Myer

PS. If you read this post, you will be happy to know I knocked two of these things off my list. :-)

civil wars

Matt just bought their whole album and I have yet to listen to it all, but here is one song I did like. Happy Monday everyone!

almost here

Tonight is our church dinner for all the youth leaders. I was so honored to help with our youth group. It's so neat to be right at the cusp of everything, with is being the first year of the program. I will miss those kids this summer.

On the other hand, I am somewhat happy that my schedule is freeing up for the summer! Our last small group is next week, and I didn't sign up for summer tennis. I plan on taking off some Fridays and lounging by the pool, or taking spontaneous (is it spontaneous if I plan on taking them??) road trips with Matt, our friends or by myself.

Here are things I want to do this summer. Thank you Pinterest, for making me swoon.
Bring it on!

M83 concert tonight

Matt and my brother in law and I are going to see M83 perform at the Masquerade. I'm excited to see a band tonight I don't know very much about but they kinda intrigue me!

MOM: ………It will cause salmonella…….

MOM: I don’t know what’s happening in nature
