helping the fallen

I can't picture myself adopting six kids. I could definitely never picture myself adopting six special needs kids. That's exactly what the Stark family in Atlanta did. They were chosen by the Bert Show, on the ATL radio station Q100 to go on Bert's Big Adventure. That is where the radio station takes the family of a special needs child to Disney World for a week and pays for all expenses. They really get the royal treatment on everything!

The Stark family went on this trip in 2009. Just recently, the mom Cheryl passed away suddenly from a stroke. The dad is left by himself to care for the six children. I can't imagine the tough times he is about to face, especially since he lost his job over a year ago. The Bert Show is trying to raise money for this much-deserving family. You can go here to donate through PayPal.

"If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother." ~ Deuteronomy 15:7
